Stay Fresh Well Beyond Your “Sell-By” Date

A survey by National Association of Realtors shows that most of your clients will not remember your name or the brokerage you work with one year after their real estate transaction. How do you avoid becoming a statistic? Show clients you’re there with the newly released 5-Year Client Follow-Up Seller Notification Program with Continuity Programs.

Similar to the 5-Year Client Follow-Up for buyers, your sellers will receive 27 touches over the next five years, through both direct mail and email. Unlike the Buyer Notification program, your clients will not be automatically enrolled. Sales associates don’t typically have a seller’s forwarding address, so your customer’s new address will have to be added and updated in the CPI portal.

Signing your clients up for the 5-Year Client Follow-Up Program begins with CPI’s monthly email notification, listing the names of this past month’s sellers. By clicking through to the CPI portal in the link provided, you have the option to either add or delete clients or edit their contact information. Enrolling your sellers is easy: add their forwarding address, select a greeting style and update the contact form. 

Your clients will receive a thoughtful Thank You Letter/Greeting Card 15 days after closing, followed by a variety of greeting cards

and holiday eCards over the next five years. Three surveys are sent over the course of the program: a client satisfaction survey in the first month, a lead generation survey after 36 months, and a lead generation survey again after 54 months.
